Gener.8 steam iron washer required

Hi,

Any thoughts please. I have been given a Gener.8 Glide+ steam iron and steam generator to repair for someone. The steam generator has a refill combined with pressure relief valve. It needs a new washer.
Must be cable of taking heat and pressure and is quite critical.
Am thinking copper washer but don't know what it would be like for the actual seal and repeated use
Have seen similar posts to this, on the web, but with no resolution.Couple of pics attached
