general washer dryer question

hi i am re fitting my kitchen and would like to install a integrated washer/dryer, however i have heard conflicting stories as to there performance.

such as its a comprimise and both the washing and drying are no good.

can anyone help me, any previous experiences will be helpful and opimnons

yes its all true they are rubbish.

quick elaboration

can't wash and dry at same time (separates can)
one bit goes wrong you may loose both
drying they can only dry half the wash load
uses water when drying
expensive
more to go wrong
unrelaible
get blocked with fluf in condensor
cost a damn site more, specialy for intergrated
good idea, bad in practice
