German government warns against using Internet Explorer

I' ll post this here because not everyone reads the Computer Forum.

There is a major flaw in Internet Explorer v6, v7, & v8:

Until a fix is sorted by Microsoft, I would recommend everyone to use another browser.

My choice is Firefox 3.5

Other options include:

Google Chrome

Opera

Hi dave ,i went for your advice and installed firefox and now i can't get into my windows messenger.

I hope other stuff hasn't been firefoxed

It's deffo faster, but mozzilo firefox sign in page keeps cming up askin for password .

Probably nothing will happen to your computer if you have decent protective software and use common sense, but if there was a report that there was evidence that the Channel Tunnel may spring a leak, would you book to travel through it?

The last paragraph says it all, I wont be changing as its been a great browser since i installed it, fast and reliable unlike firefox which used to crash when i tried it.

I'm still waiting for the millenium bug to do its dirty work
