Hello folks
I've been searching online for a while and cannot find much information on how to go about getting a gas pressure regulator for a domestic property (the type that usually sits under a green fibreglass box somewhere in peoples front gardens) moved.
I want to create a new access driveway for the house and it's right in the way, so I assume that a whole new length of gas supply pipe from the road will have to be put in following a slightly different route from the existing and then a new regulator put in somewhere along its length? I have a nasty feeling that this is going to be painfully expensive. Any advice welcome.

Contact your gas supplier and tell them you want your meter moving. Be sitting down before they tell you how much it will cost
