Going to be relocating a rad in a few days.

The existing pipe work to be relocated is concealed under the floor screen/concrete. So will need to be dug up

When I relocate the pipe work i will need to solder in at least a couple of joints before burying the new runs under fresh screed again.

My question is how I can get all the water out of the system ensuring the pipes that run below floor level are all dry before trying to solder any joints?

I’ve drained the system before but because the drain off points are higher than the buried pipes threes always that extra bit if residual water in the underground pipes.

Any tips on how best to get rid of all the water?

Thanks
