Getting tile adhesive off flooring

I've got some Bal gold star tile adhesive stuck on some amtico flooring. Any tips on how to get it off please?

I've scraped the worst of it off but there are still traces left in the grain of the surface. The tip of a stanley blade has some effect but it's very slow work and I don't want to damage the flooring.

I think i've heard somewhere that you can use like a wallpaper steamer on it, you might want to check this first or just try a small area. I guess all it will do is make the glue loosen up and scrape of easier.
