Glass Fibre flat roof ?

Was talking to a builder about replacing the garage roof and he said he has gone over to a glass fibre roofing system. Seems he uses glass fibre matting with resin.

Any experience of glass fibre flat roofs ? Is this a recognised replacement for bitumen & felt ?

Landlord friend of mine is a big fan. Just put fibreglass on my extension. It's good stuff. Can make it fit all sorts of shapes without joins and is good and tough.

Just make sure who ever does it has had experience and not just gone over to doing fibreglass roofing,lately seen quite a few bad jobs by people who have just started doing it
