Hi, we're partitioning our offices internally. We want the 5 offices to have glass fronts for light and feeling of openness but we want it to provide some measure of sound proofing.

The main issue is cost.

Which would be cheaper, but taking into account sound proofing, laminate or double glazed units (dgu)?

If laminated how thick would be enough to prevent a person speaking loudly on the phone disturbing people on the other side of the glass?

How much should I expect to pay? (The total area of the 5 office fronts is 10.6x2metres)

many thanks for your valuable time!
Ash
