I've had my boiler for 5 years. Last week i had to top up water as boiler indicator flashing red and pressure at 0.4 bar. I have had to top up every 2/3 days now. i have checked for any visible signs of leaks around rad valves but all seems ok. however i have just topped up again and noticed the indicator flashing green and the pressure went up to 3.3 bar. I got worried and bled the nearest rad so as pressure went down to 1.5 bar and turned the boiler off. i left it there but then pressure dropped to 0.8 bar. i turned the boiler on again and as the temperature increased the pressure increased to 3.3 bar again. i turned boiler off. the pressure has now dropped to 0.6 and res flashing light is on.
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
