glow-worm combi - hot water turns cold at random

Hi,
even with the heating off,the boiler can take 10 minutes to produce warm tap water,then without doing anything it will then turn cold again.

can anyone identify a possible cause and solution?

also to get warm water ,the tap needs to be on a very low flow rate.

Approx 7 years old.weve had problem over 1 year.

I agree with Jertzee, probably a diaphragm/divertor valve problem.

Water section. Just a diaphragm needed. Unusual star shaped screws to get to it. Pi ss easy to change though. Dont hang about, its bound to be leaking into the DHW switch. Compacts leak for fun.
