hi, does any body out there know how i can release the pressure from my expansion vessel , last time i tried i just cracked the nut and got wet  any hlp much appreciated thx

friend of a friend did some work a while ago didnt put inhibitor in now plate heat exchanger fouled, ran 2 lots of cleaner through no change , got new parts and inhibiter , need to remove flexi from tank to wiggle part out acess is a bit tight to say the least

if you want to remove that pipe you need to drain your system!

or yes you will get wet! not as wet as when you take the plate out without the heating drained tho

drained system but hose feels like it has pressure , oh well here goes

it might be blocked and sitting at 3bar of pressure. taking the pressure out of the air side will help but the water volume will still be there.

think it may well b , just undoing the thread a little at a time and catching water with bucket , slow but safe
