Hi,
I have a Glow-Worm 24CI combi boiler. I have decided to replace the PRV due to it having a drip. I also want to check the pressure vessel. I'm a bit confused about the test procedure.
When checking to see if any water comes out of the pressure vessel air valve, should the system be pressurised?
And if the pressure vessel has to be re-pressurised, Should the system be de-pressurised? Is there a rule of thumb guide to the PV pressure, as i can't find any info in the installation manual.
Help appreciated.

Search FAQ's on here for how to check an expansion vessel.

It is well documented and easy to follow ;)

might be worth giving the silver braided tube a wiggle and a squeeze at the same time, has a habit of blocking up on said boiler
