As the title really.....
I have a wall mounted Glow-worm fuelsaver MKII (can't find no other details/instructions) in the kitchen.
It has two removable front panels. The lower part covers the boiler thermostat and pilot igniter, the top part covers another metal cover which I presume is where the hot flame part is.......
There is a three position switch on the (seperate) timer, hot water/off/heating and hot water.
When the switch is on hot water there is no noise, but when the heating is on the boiler fires up ok, but when it clicks off there is a whining noise which is quite loud (can be heard upstairs and outside).
Sounds like a pump or fan to me but then I'm no expert, can anyone shed anymore light on this for me???
Cheers, Mark.
