Glow worm ultimate 40 ff help!! Both 2 ports open together??

Hi, I'm having problems with my heating / hotwater??
I have an s plan system. When I programme my hot water to come on my radiators get hot as well! So I whipped off both 2 port actuators and they both seem to power open when I ask for hot water or heating?? Thinking this was a programmer fault I've swapped it over for a new one and the problem still occurs? The boiler has been in for 10 years and the problem has only just started?[/list]

Sounds like a programmer fault.

If you feel able to test the wiring safely, then there should be no power to brown wire on htng zone valve when HW only is on.

Powered open or stuck open ?

They both power open when when call for with heating or hot water, then when I turn off the demand they both shut. Programmer is new today and fault still occurs

Wiring fault, check functions of single channel compared with two channel programmer, you currently have one channel controlling c'h and h/w where they should be separated.

A simple mistake and easy to correct.
