glow worm ultimate 60 ff not working

Hi all
My boiler has just stopped working after the gas went off and the boiler was trying to ignite for about an hour, when the gas came back on, I turned the boiler back on and now it won't even attempt to start.
I turn the boiler on and all i can hear is the fan going the boiler does not try to spark, I had a look at the control box and checked the fuse which is ok but No 2 LED is on, can anybody give me any clue how to fix this issue.

Why did the gas go off ?

gas board were repairing the main at the end of the road, there was a leak found this morning.

Good, you can blame them then!

Usually they call at each house to relight boilers.

Were you out?

no we were in but the boiler is automatic when the heating or hot water comes on the boiler fan starts then you can hear the igniter starts clicking then the pilot lights then the boiler starts, at this moment only the fan starts but there is no ignition.
