Anybody know if they do a fixed price repair and if so how much is it cheers... Compact 100e.

Last time I enquired (this time last year) it would be a month before they could attend an out of warranty boiler.

What's wrong with the boiler?

Gas valve is not fully opening got correct 2 voltages at multi plug connection right pressures at inlet before and during firing , but gas valve won`t go up o the 15mb only goes to 8mb . Solenoid not lifting proper. so hot water really struggling

No sh#te in valve.
It done it last year but gave it a wack and it freed it...
But just haven`t got the time to do it ,Away for 3 days on the **** to the game at weekend and two big changeovers next week

Seen one with 8mb which required new PCB. Was only receiving about 30vdc of a max 50vdc.

Have also seen the fault you describe although i booked in a gas valve i never found the outcome.

Very easy to change though takes 15 mins...

I came across this fault not so long ago. Despite attempting to set the min and max settings on the gas valve and adjusting the pot on the board I could not get the burner pressure up from about 7 mbar. It turrned out to be the board.

I don't see how you can get any meaningful measurements for the solenoids as PWM is employed. As a rough guide however with my DMM I had 24-32VDC on the 1.5K coil and about 85-95VDC on the 3K coil. ie my DVM showed a small differenece in voltage as the board modulated.

Getting the 130v across the red and blue and around 30v between black an white , but as this is within the range (24/50) which says valve ok .
