The CH is working fine but there is no hot water. I've increased the boiler pressure as it had dropped below 0.5 but that has made no difference. If I put the heating on constant the boiler will fire up (but still no hot water). If the heating is off, the boiler will not fire up (reset button not doing anything)

I've had a bit of look (altho no clue what I'm looking for!) and have spotted the heating return pipe appears to be leaking (tiny drips of water).

Obviously I'm gonna have to call a plumber in but am terrified about cost (am a very skint single mum). Can anyone give me a clue about whether I'll need to sell a major organ to pay the plumbers bill or does it sound like a simple part needs replacing?

Any help or advice very appreciated.

Do you get any lights on the front of the boiler when you run a hot tap?

The DHW flow switch is apparently not responding for some reason.

Something, undefined, is leaking!

You may need to budget for something getting close to £200.

Tony
