Gloworm Fulesaver F problem

Hi everyone, this is my first post and and I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have the above boiler which has developed a problem where the pilot light goes out and won't respond at all.

I have turned the fused switch off, changed the fuse and tried the lighting sequence several times (you simply turn the thermostat knob but with no luck. If we leave it so the timer operates it, the boiler lights for about 10 minutes then again won't respond.

Also the thermostat knob feels very wobbly - is this normal?
