Gloworm spacesaver 40 B

Client has above boiler. I was called to investigate clicking noise coming from the boiler.

Noise appears to be a bit of dirt that is rattling within the heat exchanger. Putting the pump off stops the noise. Burner wether alight or not makes no difference to the noise (so it cannot be kettlin)

The back panel is corroded. Do the regulars know if a replacement panel is available?

is it the spacesaver 40b mk2? gc 4131588
if so.......main panel sub assembly up to serial 0020650 is man. num. AG086S, gc no 355-215

from serial number 0020651 is man. num. 418175 gc part 334-678

Would the noise just be a piece of scale that has broken off in the heat exchanger and can't get out?

Glasgow water neutral pH. You diagnosis backs up my conclusion.
