hi people, recently my boiler packed up, 1st off their was no power and the internal fuse had blown, now f11 error comes up which i believe according to the handbook is "'11' and 'phone' and 'F' and 'flashing red LED' No reception by the main board (MMI Lead)", the display shows 0.0 bar and when letting water in the bar do not change, i then noticed water being released outside which makes me think the release safety valve has kicked in, do any of this sound right? and is their a way of resetting this safety valve?

cheers

It sounds to me as if your boiler is badly blocked with dirt.

I would suggest a professional who is acustomed to dealing with sludged up boilers.

the rpz valve seems to be releasing water if i attempt to fill it, also can the pressure release valve be reset or are do they have to be replaced?

after messing about and straightening the flexi house a little the boiler all kicked into action and working fine at the moment - i changed the 1.25amp fuse on the pcb to a 3 amp as this blew originally - should i replace this to 1.25 asap?

You dont write very clearly! But you have said that you have changed the manufacturer's rated fuse at 1.25A to a 3A fuse!

Thats potentially dangerous and likely to do damage to your boiler.

I am not going to give advice to anyone who apparently acts so irresponsibly.

The RPZ valves do drip water during filling, thats normal. They can also continue leaking but usually stop after a few hours. Sometimes they dont stop and then have to be replaced.
