hi know this will probably sound dumb to most of you lot, but...

i have been losing pressure, this is usually sorted out by turning the blue filling tap underneath the boiler. when i do this water comes out to the left, underneath of the boiler.

someone previouley suggested this shouldnt really happen and that i needed a new filling loop?

today it dropped to 0.4 pressure, so i did the usual and drained loads of water but still would not work, it wa sthen suggested that i should fill the boiler with some water, if so

how and where do i do this?
thanks from a struggling housewife

eh?

Yes in's that silly blue knob - they drip, you have to put up with it while it's filling. Great design.

Most installers put an extra filling loop as well , can you see a braided silver bit of pipe with a small black tap oine or both ends? You may not have one though :(

Because the CXi has a fixed filling loop design, it has to incorporate a NPZ
(Negative Presssure Zone) to comply, unfortunately these are pretty useless and prone to leak, my advice would be to fit another flexible filling loop near the boiler - remember to remove the flex hose when not being filled though!! ;)
