Hi, We wondered if anyone may be able to help please? We have a Glowworm 30cxi combi boiler and noticed there was something wrong when the heating came on by itself. The programmer and wall thermostat are both off too.
On investigation, the system pressure was at almost 2 bar so I released the pressure via a radiator to 0.8 bar then removed the filling loop in case it was leaking through.
Within an hour the pressure was back up to 1.7 bar and tried to bleed again but no more water in system!! The pressure remains at 0.8 bar although appearing empty and still works when the hot taps are turned on!....anyone able to help please? Is the expansion vessel or heat exchanger at fault?
