I instaled some high intensity spot lights and forgot to remove the manufacturers stickers. the result is now burnt glue on my shiney silver spots. any tips on how to clean these marks off ?

Unburnt glue can be removed with meths on a rag.
If it is on a metal surface, and meths will not remove the burnt on residue, you could try a stronger solvent, or a nylon pan scourer and fairy liquid. the scourer may dull the polish.

try WD40 removes pen marks and sticker glue when new
