I was at MAN airport on Tuesday and security was a nightmare, queues into the car park and about a 3 hour wait.
Thankfully I jumped most of the queue.
What the news seems to have failed to report is that the entrances for T1 and T3 have been combined (basically you can’t enter through T3 on the land side, only get their airside after security). Therefore you now have two terminals worth of people trying to go through a single terminal’s security…which was already stretched for capacity beforehand!
