1 back = 3 mins
10 + 5 out = 13 mins

Sorry, just seen the reply, yes that's correct.

OK, you die and go to the heaven / hell waiting room.

In the room are two doors, one the entrance to hell, one the entrance to heaven.

In front of the two doors are two gate keepers. One the gatekeeper to hell, one the gatekeeper to heaven. Unfortunately they stand randomly infront of either door. i.e

Heavens gatekeeper may or may not be standing in front of heavens door and vice versa.

Heavens gatekeeper will always provide the true answer to any question asked.

Hells gatekeeper will always lie.

You have one question to pose to either gatekeeper in order to determine the correct door.

What is the question?

ask either one "if i ask the other gatekeeper which door leads to heaven what door would they say?" then go through the other door to the one he says

not sure which is the correct door that you suggest though :D

that question is a little harder in "the labyrinth".. they could only answer yes or no..

are we to assume that the gatekeepers are identical in appearence and not identified in anyway?

you ask one if the other would say his was the door to heaven..

if he says yes then there are 2 posibilities..
1 - he's lying the other would say no and be telling the truth so the first door is the right one.
2. - he's telling the truth and the other would say yes and be lying, so the first door is the right one..

If the athletes that good he can cross and throw the torch back.

little bit of lateral thinking???

Every morning a man, who lives on the 30th floor of a block of flats, gets into the lift and goes down to the ground floor and goes to work.
Every night he comes home from work, gets in the lift and goes to the 15th floor. He gets out and walks the rest of the way up using the stairs..

Why?

He's too short to press beyond the 15th floor button.
