I didn't follow it very closely at the time. Every report I can now find says forty two boats. But where did that information come from. Was anyone actually following them. How many did Israel arrest. That might be a good source.

There were in fact a couple of slow lead boats with most of the “group” departing later from different origins.

If only there was a real system that tracks maritime vessels, so that people don’t have to make it up. Oh wait.. there is.

There was indeed a leading party of a few boats and lot more arrived around 3-4 days later. Some were so slow the IDF had to actually go out and search for them.

I have now found out that there were thirty two journalists on the boats. I have no evidence to dispute what they reported. I know nothing about boats; not even what AIS is or what weighing anchor means. All I was really wanting to know is whether this idea that there were only actually two boats is a widely held belief amongst a certain segment of the blogosphere. Or whether MBK is the the sole proponent. I can't find any mention of it anywhere else.
