I’m planning to lay some granite slabs over an existing concrete base and wondered whether it will work or if I’m going to have a knackered patio.
The existing base has some cracks in it - 4 or 5 running fairly straight (by which I mean not loads all over the place) so I wondered whether this is gaps between pours. The house was built in 1916 but I have no idea how old the base is.
Can I apply sand & cement then slab straight over?
