So my grant boiler v90 was smelling of oil and also hot water would only work when heating was on.

I called my heating engineer and he came to replace some parts but I have a water leak in two places from what looks like the diverter valve (looking at the instruction manual) and this has been going on for 24 hours now and the water has got underneath my laminate flooring. I have managed to put a plastic container to collect the water but it won’t take long for that to fill infact in a couple of hours there was a couple of cm there.

I have called the engineer but he is away until Monday. Is there anyway of shutting off the water supply to the boiler so that part doesn’t leak and then maybe just turn on again when I need to use the shower? I don’t think I can last another 4-5 days with it leaking like that.
