Hi,
I've noticed some cracks appearing in my lawn and also so dark thick grass patches.
Please can someone tell me how I can fix the cracks and get rid of thick patches.
Thanks

Your grass looks like it’s suffering from build up of thatch and compacted soil.

It probably needs scarifying, aerating, top dressing, over seeding (probably with a dwarf rye grass / Tripoli’s rye grass mixture, rather than a seed mixture with fine grass seen varieties)

Aldi are selling a great scarifier for £70 right now, I’ve just bought one, it has both scarifying and power rake heads you can use.

By the scarifying is really cutting lines in the soil which cut through grass roots encouraging branching and it rips out thatch. Some scarifiers that are sold are really power rakes
