I'm replacing a 1.8m featheredge fence onto new arris boards moticed into existing concrete posts but wasn't going to bother with gravel boards as I'm not sure how to fix them to the posts. Should I change my mind? How would I fix them to the posts?

Drive stakes into the ground at the side of post and fix to them.
