We have one radiator (situated in the bathroom) that I believe is on the gravity fed hot water circuit rather than on the pumped system with the other radiators.
The problem is that this one radiator takes ages to heat up. It shows little or no sign of getting warm, sometimes for several hours after the water/heating sysem is switched on - but it does eventually get hot, so water is clearly getting through, but the long wait means that it is of little practical use in getting the bathroom warm!
Has anyone any idea what is wrong, and what I need to do to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Hm. It might be partially blocked by a build-up of sludge.

You might consider cleaning it - shut off both valves, drain and remove this radiator and flush it out.
