Gravity Hot Water Air Lock

A friend of my uncles, neighbours great aunt is having trouble getting a G H W system 'gravitating' again and heating the HWC. Central heating which is pumped is fine.

Here in Norfolk there are plenty of this type of system about and you can't get people to pay out their hard earned cash to update them even when you explain the virtues of a fully pumped system

So, any one any bright ideas to get the convection currents going again

She's an old lady so your help be appreciated.

Check f &E tank full and rads bleed water ok, then remove boiler stat and boil up water, be very carefull due to overheating and only try if brave enough.
