I've been trying to connect my Greenstar 24i boiler to a CM61 room thermostat as the boiler makes the house very hot. What seems like a simple wiring diagram has resulted in several blown fuses so far.

Listings are boiler first.

--> Ns to B
--> Ls to A

Link Lr / Ls in

What's the correct solution please as I'm spending a fortune on gas.

You want to switch ls and lr to a and b don't connect neutral to the switch contacts. Connect the neutral to neutral in clock if you don't already have one there.

I've made the connections and now set the boiler control to On and run the whole systems via the room control. Boiler is already has a reduced workload.

Many thanks!!

Blowing fuses is not an acceptable way of seeing if you have done it correctly which you obviously hadn't.

Did the product not come with a wiring diagram?

The product did come with a manual, however your comments aren't exactly helpful. My error was made through connecting the natural link when only live and switched live connections are required. I believe this is the case for a lot our boilers. A light switch uses live and common for the same thing so now I know.
