Hello people i have dislodged a GREY wire from my central heating junction box, the wires orange, white, blue from my sunvic 3-port valve spring return mid position motorised valve are all connected but i haven't a clue were the grey one should go or if it's critical.
Could some kind soul please help me with this, thankyou.
ps.I cannot use trial & error as at the moment the central heating is disabled.

If the person that put it in had used a 10 pin block connector that would be perfect kev,BUT whoever did it must have only had smaller ones i'm afraid.
I'm a novice at wiring so it's a little tricky to folow,i have a couple of blocks that have no wires going to one side & i'm wondering if trial & error is an option when i start the system up ?? or if the grey wire being put in the wrong block could cause a problem,or going off that it connects to the cylinder stat wire, what coulour is the stat wire ??

Find out which wire is connected to terminal 2 in the cylinder stat and terminal 1 in the programmer. it goes with them.
