Hi again

I have also bought a Grohe Wireless shower with the following details:

Grohtherm Wireless!
Pumped thermostatic shower system

wireless main control
wireless remote control
fully adjustable flow control
3 preset buttons for flow and temp.
pause button
SafeStop temperature override
base unit 230v featuring
GROHE TurboStat® compact cartridge
with wax thermoelement
integral pump
15 mm copper inlet/outlet connections
filters and non return valves
Min. recommended pressure 0.1 bar
max. pressure 1 bar

I am looking to mount this above my ensuite practically under the tank will the minimum pressure be ok?

Cheers

Probably - but:

How big are your tanks?

How powerful is the pump?

Have you got the correct flange/secondary tapping on your cylinder?

Dan thanks for the reply.

I was going to use the existing gravity fed hot and cold supply for my old mixer shower and reroute them into the Grohe pump in the loft??

Is this ok?

Thanks

LJ

I think I need a plumber!

Just read the Salamander page in detail.

I don't understand these vents and am a little confused.

Cheers

The best type of DIY'er is one who'll have a crack, but know when they have over stretched themselves before they get there.

It saves everyoine a lot of time and money in the long run. :D

Dpends entirely on where you are, how much pipe work is needed, how the connection to the cylinder can be made, how many air locks need shifting afterwards, how much making good, how much wiring is needed, whether you need a second cws tank, whether the hot water cylinder is big enough, can you park.... list goes on.

Get four or five quotes. Throw the cheapest and most expensive in the bin and go with recommendations and instinct about the engineer doing the work.
