My g/f has just had a new shower installed. When you turn it on and adjust the temperature, not a great deal happens. It goes from scalding to 3rd degree burns, and when you flick the switch on the right hand side and turn it round to 50 the boiler shuts down and cold water comes out. Could the pipes be the wrong way round or is it a problem with the valve?
