Hi guys.

I have a 6x7m garage. Current slab is made up of three slabs, which are cracked along the joins and un even too. When it rains, the garage fills with water which floods down the side

I want a new 15cm mesh reinforced slab laid on top to consolidate and level the floor. I also want a 15cm deep pit approx 1m x 2m to house a scissor car lift.

Lastly I want it smooth so i can easily roll jacks etc without getting stuck on ruts etc. Probably multi story car park sort of finish.

How much should I be looking to pay for something like this?
Who do I look for to do this kind of work?

and lastly can anyone recommend someone that is happy to work in london.

Cheers
Amit

this is a forum if you need help to do something you will get it :) , if you have some work done you need a builder, try yellow pages.

ok then.

How would I diy this ? :) Having searched the forum, I am expecting a load of replies saying pay someone to do it.

I was just cutting to the chase :)

I think my real question is what is a reasonable price for a job like this..

and what is the correct procedure for doing it, so I can make sure the builder is not talking poop.
