Group rides

[Highway Man]

I am not a fan of large group rides, too many people trying to massage their egos by trying to impress others riding dangerous and pushing their riding ability's over safety and enjoyment. I am going on one today with a group that have some of these riders. I will not be racing them or putting myself in harms way. I wished I had said I won't go but the destinations are places that I like. Adrenalin is one thing but blind overtaking is another. Anyone else off out today?

Nope, went to a barbecue yesterday so feeling a little bit rough.....it was great they had a pool in the garden and karaoke.....I done a few Neil Diamond numbers.....everyone thought I was professional tribute act....

No-one done any riding or anything perverted like that mind.

I'm down the river in the K2 today.
Bike ride tomorrow but I don't go on the road, I do mountain biking in the woods.
Usually two of us or sometimes 3.
No competition as I'm the fittest and I stay at the back, I only push it when I go on my own.
We're lucky we have enough green spaces to avoid the roads, we only have to cross from one park to the next on zebra crossing.
The standard of driving is so appalling here in London that I would never go on the road, besides, I 'd rather be surrounded by nature than ars.
I'm sure a large number of drivers here don't have a licence.

Sounds miserable on a hot day. My friend claimed to have done 140 on the hill outside Market Weighton.
