If you can't see a car approaching in good visibility without lights, you should not be driving...

My visibility would be so much better if it wasn't for the tattered remains of all those bl**dy sticky labels on the windscreen!!! :x :x :x

That tape around the end of bundles of copper!!

That reminds me. This isn't a grump so much as a mystery. Whenever I wind some black plastic tape around the end of a wire, I notice that there is an edge where the tape finishes. I make a point of checking that the edge is there because --

Whenever I come to remove the black plastic tape from the end of a wire, there is no edge in sight! :? :? :? It has vanished form our universe. Did it disappear through a hole in space-time or did somebody cut it off while I wasn't looking? :x :x :x I haven't got the patience to sit and watch a taped-up wire to see what actually happens. I just know that I'll end up hacking at the tape until it comes off in little pieces. :( :( :(

And those, that Don't know what a full stop, or an apostrophe is.........[/quote]

There's a sign on a road near me advertising Baby Rabbit's, Duck's & Chick's

Re: Sidelights, I was referring to a day like last Sunday, when it's pouring down with rain, the motorway is awash with spray, visibility is poor, and the bl**dy sidelight squad wonder why you can't see 'em coming up behind you :?:

Well I was going to start a thread - 'Grumpy old man!' but then I did a search and found this ancient thread.

So my Grump is Why do a mass of old people when then either enter or leave a cafe, pub or a shop just walk inside the doorway stop to have a discussion stopping the rest of us entering or leaving? Why can't they either get out of the way or have their discussion outside but away from the door.

I should add I'm my early 70's but I do my damedest not to hold people up.

People who leave bags of dog **** hanging on low branches, TAKE IT AWAY WITH YOU !
