Grundfos pump

Hi

Swapping a pump over and noticed from the manual the electrical box should not be on the bottom. Can I undo the pump head and turn 90degrees to get it on it's side so the flow is the right way?

Turning the pump head does not alter the direction of flow in any way, if you want to alter the direction of flow you have to turn the base around

I meant if I have the base the correct way for direction of flow, the electrical box is then at the bottom, which the manual advises is wrong.

I think I’ve finally worked out how to swap system to fully pumped, a job for weekend I think
