Hi
I'm new to the forum and i was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me.
What do you call the bricks that act as brackets holding up the old wooden guttering?
Sometimes the bricks are spaced out and oher times they are one continuous run.
Cheers

Dog-tooth corbelling or oversailors.

These do not hold up the guttering but are an answer to the eaves detail when a standard timber fascia/soffit detail is not used.

Rise and fall brackets or eaves brackets are used for the guttering.

Could also be Dentil brickwork, which usually one corbel and one set back in line along the line.

I'll now try and find time to look through the site and see what i can learn
Thanks a lot.

I'd concentrate on changing wooden guttering for something less permeable ;)
