gyproc dry wall sealer

can gyproc dry wall sealer be applied to newly skimmed plaster board walls?.

the reason for this information request is , we were going to keep the plasterboard as dry lined tape and jointed but decided to skim the walls instead we have got a tub of gyproc dry wall sealer and if it is suitable we wanted to apply this to seal the skimmed walls when there are dry enough.

Yep..thats what its for, but personally I think its expensive for what it is and find thinned out vnyl matt does the same job
