Hi,

My new 7.3kW AEG Induction Hob has come without any cable, the manual stated it should be connected with "the appropriate H05BB-F Tmax 90degC" cable.

I cant find any referance to this cable on the web (except some stuff in German). Anybody tell me what the equivalent easily available UK cable is? Or what you would connect it up with? I will be connecting it into an existing Cooker Switch on 6mm cable with its own 32amp MCB at the main board.

Thanks

Thanks for the link to the swedish website, but still cant find this available in UK. Also in the photo it looks to be 3 core and earth? Is it for 2 phase European systems? Also quotes max is 2.5mm, surely it would need to be 6mm cable to match the 7.3 Kw of the appliance?

It all looks a bit odd to me, I wonder if the rubberised heat resistant spec a bit of spec overkill by AEG? How hot can it get under a hob?

Would a local sparkie just use normal 6mm twin core and earth? Or this this normal stock for someone in the trade?
