iv receintly done a rendering job which has gone completely wrong! first i sbr ed the brick then had two scratch coats 4.1.1 with 2days between coats prior to a top coat of 41/2 5.1.1 with waterproofer of 25/1,the gear floated and sponged very well with the plastering sand from wickes after waiting round all day, then literally the whole area has had hairline cracks appearing on both brick and block areas just after finishing off with sponge, it didnt dry to quick as the gear was still soft as it was happening,it hasnt blown and is gaining strength, i want to no what the cause is as iv never had this before an still have more to do there, the only thing i can think of is that the scratch coats where still damp!!!!!! any help appreciated

yeah its shrinkage should of left the scratch longer kelly
