I've got a problem with lukewarm water on my Halstead ace. The CH works fine but the CH pipes get hot when I turn the hot water on.

Looking at the pins on the diverter they both operate when the hot tap is turned on and they both return when it is turned off. The CH pins operates fine for just the heating.

Do I need the diverter service kit for this and if so can someone give me a brief rundown of how it is changed.

Cheers

The manifold section of the diverter valve is sticking.

We always replace them but some DIYers do try to clean them as they can tolerate a failure to fix.
