Hi there,
I have a Halstead Balmoral 45F gas boiler and have recently changed the PCB (on which a component had burnt out) and the pressure switch (which I understand wasn't working). I'm not sure if the two problems were connected, but I changed what needed changing. Now, when I turn the thermostat on, the electrode sparks, lights the pilot, but the spark continues constantly for between 30 seconds and 5 minutes before the main burner ignites. Once the burner ignites, the sparking stops immediately.
Any suggestions as to the problem / a solution would be much appreciated! Thanks.
