Halstead boiler - unwanted heating on all the time.

I have to switch my boiler on just to get hot water cos if i leave it on, heating is on constantly despite being on OFF. Boiler man left me with this problem after coming out last week to fix issue of hot water running hot n cold. Fixed that but left me with a bigger problem. Cant get hold of him now!! HELP please as cant get hold of Halstead either

Halstead are now owned by Dimplex.

Dimplex don't like talking about it

Probably a guffed diverter valve which may or may not be as direct result of the last guys work.


01489 773000 - Dimplex normal number as opposed to the 0844.

Some people seem to like these boilers.


I think they're a bag of warnk personally.

Was sold to me 6 years ago as the big all dancing all singing, however, 5 bedroom house with two showers has proved otherwise and i couldnt agree more. A bigger bag of warnk was the warnker that fitted it!!

Like I said - it might be a secondary problem and not the fault of the other guy.
