Hammerite Smooth

Hi all,

I know Hammerite do a radiator paint, but I can only find it in white, off white, and slightly offer white.

I've picked up some Hammerite Smooth spray cans, will this be safe to use? It's going in the kiddies bedroom, I don't want to intoxicate them

Also will it hold up to the temperatures, I know of people who have painted their engine blocks in the stuff, and had no problems.

It's a cast iron rad.

Hammerite have radiator paint in colours,

I am sure if you email them they will tell you where you can get it.

Thanks for the reply.

Hammerite have discontinued their shades range, but suggested that a colour can be mixed with eggshell or gloss.

If that is the case, then surely I can use smooth?

I would have thought so but to be 100% I would send an email to them.
