Handheld shower outlet

Hello,

Struggling to find a way to fit my handheld shower outlet in my concealed shower.

How am I suppose to fit this before I’ve started to tile? I need to build the wall up with tile backer board for and dabbed to the wall due to it not being level.

The chrome plate doesn’t slide past the chrome bar otherwise that would have made it easier.

You don't, you fit it afterwards. ½" female iron in the wall for now, set to just behind the finished surface, get your tiling done then screw the outlet into the FI fitting
