Hi there,

I have a couple of 7.5kg (16.5lb) glass and metal cabinets that I want to hang on a wall that has 9mm marine mdf t&g panelling nailed to thin battens on a plastered brick wall.

I’m sort of struggling to decide what sort of fixing to use. Normally I’d use hammer-in fixings but I don’t think I can get a hammer in the cabinet to tap them in (the shelves are not removable).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How big? I suspect there’s 9mm mdf, 15-20mm gap, then the plaster then the brick.

Also the cabinet has 4 holes in the back metal plate to attach it.
